"I’ve never done this before. I’m not really much of a writer. I hope I can do this justice. But I felt compelled to write this testimonial; there is definitely Paradise in Westwood. Brian provided an excellent massage. One of the things that I liked about him was that his Ad was legit and what I wanted which was a good massage. I must say that he is an excellent Therapist. Right from the start he had me at hello, Good strong hands! He uses firm gentle strokes and is stronger where and when needed. He reads your body well. He’s also nice looking with a nurturing demeanor…definitely no attitude here. His place is clean and very relaxing. He has a killer sound system. The time went very quickly but FELT like an eternity. Honestly, it was a great massage and I highly recommend." Paul ~ Woodland Hills, CA. ~ July 2007
"Great swedish massage that helps to release the stress in my back & shoulders due to hours sitting in front of a computer screen. Great attitude, highly professional and skilled, Brian Hollick is my favorite Therapist in the city. Highly recommended." Phil D. ~ West Los Angeles, CA. ~ August 2010
"After increasing the frequency and intensity of my gym workouts two years ago it became apparent that I needed help in rehabilitating from the many injuries I began to incur. I used to think that massage was an extravagance, but I soon realized the therapeutic benefits of a proper massage. I had tried a few different therapists before I got booked with Brian at Massage Masters. What sets Brian apart from way above the rest is the comfort level I felt instantly from the beginning as I rehabilitated my two spinal surgeries and the stress I was developing in my shoulders from sitting at my desk all day. His understanding and eagerness to help was apparent and that eased me at once. Brian is a caring person who wants to make sure you are taken care of. He has intuitive strength in his hands and uses his body to work out knots full of tension. I personally prefer going to Brian's place now for my massages because it’s more relaxing than a commercial facility and plus he doesn't mind my preference in listening to rain and thunder during my massages! His home is nice and peaceful, in a quiet neighborhood with street parking. Brian responds quickly to my scheduling last minute and I like the convenience of paying online in advance through his website. I’ve referred several friends to Brian and have even given a few sessions as gifts. Brian is truly the best!" Scott I. ~ West Los Angeles, CA. ~ Sept 2010
"About five minutes into my great massage with Brian, I knew I had found the massage therapist I wanted to schedule with again and again. Brian has a quiet strength to his touch, and he uses amazing hands to apply the right amount of pressure intuitively. I appreciate Brian’s body-mind perspective to massage, and I feel peaceful, and worked over (in a good way!), by the time I leave the table. Brian’s personality is very professional and friendly, and his work setting is serene and conducive to relaxation. I look forward to each and every session I get with him, and will be getting many more." Michael E. ~ Santa Monica, CA. ~ Sept 2010
"Brian Hollick is a testament of when learned skills - meets gifted innate talents - amazing application. His massage is singly one of the best massages I've ever had in my life. He focuses on his profession like a black-belt massage artist: every muscle is religiously worked with great precision & focus. At the end of the massage, you feel as though you were pulled through a stretcher. You can view his certification & talent on his website for proof. But you can't feel what it's really like unless you book a session with Brian and render yourself to his talent." Cameron R. ~ Los Angeles, CA. ~ Oct 2010
"Up until a few years ago, I used to get a regular monthly massage from the most awesome set of hands... and then the hands moved to Vermont. (sigh) Well yesterday, after three years and A LOT of hands later, I received a massage from Brian. AMAZING!! Brian is a truly gifted and intuitive therapist. He doesn't use the same ol' traditional Swedish pattern that you get from 98% of massage therapists. Brian has his own style developed over 10 years of practice and leaves no muscles un-kneaded. If you want an invigorating therapeutic massage that really works out your muscles, then by all means, go see Brian. I have found the hands I have been searching for!" "Brian is amazing! I have some chronic neck and back issues and I always get off his table with improved mobility... And even more the next day. I've tried a bunch of therapists and styles and Brian is the best. My main complaint with OTHER therapists I've tried is that they tend to feel they know better than me when I tell them what ails me. I had one therapist work on my calves for 90 minutes telling me that back problems in general are 'usually' due to tight legs. That might be true in some cases, but not mine... when I tell Brian my neck is out, he figures out why and fixes it! Simple! Trust me, book a time with him!" Joshie W. ~ West L.A., CA. ~ March 2013
"I was referred to Brian by a close friend and I now owe that friend a drink/meal/hug. I've had back issues for at least 15 years due to a few car accidents and those pains have only been compounded by sitting at a desk for 8+ hours a day. So, I was excited to see Brian and get some knots worked out - excitement was completely justified and I'll be going back to see him soon. He was completely professional, listened to my concerns and focused on my trouble areas. I opted for the 90min massage so he could stretch my legs as well; totally worth it. Overall, I felt totally comfortable and relaxed and would definitely recommend him to anyone in need." Alex N. ~ Los Angeles, CA. ~ March 2013
"Brian is a perfect balance of what I want a massage therapist to be. He is very strong, and he applies pressure just when and where it's needed. His setup is very relaxing, and I felt completely rejuvenated at the end and I will definitely come back for more." Mark M. ~ Los Angeles, CA. ~ March 2013
"Today was my first time under the care of Brian. I went to the chiropractic office that he works out of on Melrose and Sweetzer. Brian looks strong, and he is! The pressure was never too much, and JUST right. His in-office hourly rate is WELL below what I expected, and the massage was well ABOVE what I expected. I wished I had chosen 90 minutes, as the 60 was just not enough. Thank you Brian. I look forward to seeing you soon." Michael K. ~ Los Angeles, CA. ~ July 2013 "I've been seeing Brian for the last, oh gosh, over a year and a half. Whenever I get in trouble with my shoulder, back or tight I.T. band, Brian is always available via a phone call or text to get me moving and pain free again." David H. ~ Los Angeles, CA. ~ August 2013
"I have been getting massage therapy from Brian for the past 6 years now. I discovered him through Massage Masters when they were originally at 24 Hr. Fitness in West Hollywood. I requested a technician who was able to do deep tissue massage and could handle my 6'4 frame and chronic back and neck problems. Brian was recommended and I have never looked back. When Massage Masters closed, I followed him to the chiropractic office that he works out of on Melrose and Sweetzer, and once you have massage with him, his placement in a chiropractic office makes perfect sense.
Brian has a real gift and a higher understanding of the human body than most. He makes you feel extremely comfortable in his care and never afraid that too much pressure will be applied or a harmful adjustment will be made. I initially chose the 60 minute massage but have now upgraded to 90 minutes as the hour flew by for me (but not for him I am sure) as believe me when I say he gets a workout when he has to massage the likes of me. I have experienced quite a few massage therapists, but none as intuitive about the body as Brian Hollick. He is a powerhouse and a very special person. My aches and pains are relieved, my blood pressure is normalized, and I have fewer ongoing problems following his massage. You will leave rejuvenated and wanting to come back every day for the rest of your life once you have a massage with this guy! Thank you Brian so much for your care over the years!" Craig T. ~ West Hollywood, CA. ~ August 2013 "I have chronic back issues due to an injury and decided to try massage in an attempt to improve my mobility and ease my pain. I had never gotten a professional massage before and was nervous but as soon as I met Brian he was welcoming and kind. The atmosphere in the room is peaceful and reassuring and the massage was exactly what my back needed to loosen up. The pressure was perfect and he always tells you that if you ever feel uncomfortable or want more/less pressure to jut let him know. I look forward to continue seeing him and have been recommending him to my friends. At the end of the massage he sends you off with a bottle of water to keep you hydrated and some instructions to help ensure you get the full benefit of the massage (like icing and using heating packs). It's a small gesture that shows he cares about each one of his clients." Sarah W. ~ Los Angeles, CA. ~ September 2013
"This is my second review of the magic that is Brian Hollick massage. I have been seeing him for bodywork semi-regularly for a few months now and I have to say that each time is better than the last. I came hoe after some extensive travel and then right into a weekend of tent camping (on an air mattress). When I saw Brian, I think my right shoulder was almost touching my ear... ugh! Brian got in there and worked it all out so that I could feel human again. Perfect pressure, intuitive touch, plus genuine care and compassion. Seriously... what are you waiting for? Go see him!" Jeff P. ~ Los Angeles, CA. ~ September 2013
"I was a little nervous going to a new private male therapist without knowing him, but I wanted someone strong. My girlfriend recommend Bryan, and he has now been my therapeutic deep tissue massage therapist for 6 years! I never feel like I am on a conveyor belt. I like how he switches up the massage depending on what is giving me pain. I don't feel like I am just ""another"" client. He listens and communicates well.
Because I am a woman, some therapists think they need to go lighter, but Bryan understands the right pressure in order to break up my scar tissue and help me with my pain management.
I was a serious gymnast growing up and had acquired some injuries over the years along with an almost fatal car accident. I am extremely picky when it comes to massage therapists. I look for someone who knows their anatomy, has experience, is strong and has a kind personality. I started to see him after I finished with all my Physical Therapy, and it was a great transition.
Bryan has it all, and I love his work! I am lucky to have found him and would highly recommend him!" Renee A. ~ Redondo Beach, CA. ~ September 2013
